Helicon – It Won’t Stop – Mogwai Remix (Barry Burns)

Pick a song, pull it apart, do your thing: that was the whole brief when Helicon and AL LOVER handed their album Arise to friends and tourmates. Barry Burns of Mogwai picked “It Won’t Stop”, and his rework is the first preview of Arise Remixes, due February 5, 2027 on Fuzz Club Records. Arise already mixed beats, samples and electronics with the feel of a band playing in a room, so a Mogwai member taking it apart is a natural fit. The band say hearing their songs come back changed is already shaping how they think about the next record.
